Tournament Outline and Rules

Where: Playoff Arcade, 32 Cambridge Street, Worcester, MA 01603

When: Sunday August 17th, 2003

Time: 11:00am until finished

Tournament format:
Double elimination Perfect attack:

• Perfect: 2 points
• Great: 1 Point
• Good: 0 Point
• Boo: -1 Point
• Miss: -2 Points
• Ok: 1 Point

Player will play a randomly selected song in 1St Round on heavy, no more than 7 feet. The winner of the 1st round will advance to the winner's bracket; the loser will advance to the loser's bracket.

Players will play 2 songs each on the 2nd round, each player will pick one song each (7-9 feet), and the higher scored player will advance to the next round. The loser of the winner's bracket will advance to the loser's bracket, while the loser of the loser's bracket is eliminated.

3rd round and on will follow the same format until one person remain in the winner's bracket and one person remains in the loser's bracket. The winner of the final round will be the champion and receive 1st prize.

Oni Attack:
Everyone can play in Oni attack. It will follow the same format as Perfect attack. Instead of points, the first person to lose all life in an Oni loses.

Rules:
No Modifiers allowed.
Freestyle is allowed but will not count toward anything; freestyle that hurts or damages the arcade machine is not allowed.

Registration:
Registration is $5.00, which will allow you to play in both PA and ONI attack tournaments. It will also include free refreshments.

Prize details are TBA; prizes will include free 3-day registration to Anime Boston 2004, anime DVDs and DDR goodies.
